Softball Recap: Sipsey Valley Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sipsey Valley's offense. They came up short against the Northside Rams on Wednesday, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Bears' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sipsey Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season. As for Northside, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-11-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sipsey Valley will take on Holy Spirit Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northside, they will host Wenonah at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
