Football Recap: Platt Takes a Loss

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Platt was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Maloney Spartans and fell 42-13. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost eight in a row.

Although Platt took the loss, they still got scores from Edwin Vidal and Austen Standish.

Platt's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Maloney, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-4.

As of now, neither Platt nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
