Augusta Eagles has no trouble against South Aiken Baptist Christian

Augusta Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 75-56 victory over South Aiken Baptist Christian. The victory was just what Augusta Eagles needed coming off of a 79-52 loss in their prior game.

South Aiken Baptist Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Colman Smith, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Sam Terlizzi who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That was a full 41.1% of South Aiken Baptist Christian's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Windham, who scored eight points.

Augusta Eagles now has a winning record of 9-8. As for South Aiken Baptist Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Augusta Eagles will be playing at home against Alleluia Community at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Aiken Baptist Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Sandhills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Sandhills is ranked 298th, while South Aiken Baptist Christian is ranked 306th).
