Benedictine had won two straight games and Caleb Jones did his part to make it three on Monday. The Benedictine Cadets skirted past the New Hampstead Phoenix 81-78 thanks in part to Jones, who shot 5-for-8 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 49 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was his 49th in a row with at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of CaRon Hall, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Those 16 points gave him a new career-high.

Benedictine's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for New Hampstead, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-14.

Coming up, Benedictine is taking a road trip to challenge Warner Robins at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Benedictine knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Warner Robins likes a good challenge. New Hampstead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
