Basketball Game Preview: Seymour Indians vs. Routt Catholic Rockets

The Seymour Indians will head out to take on the Routt Catholic Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Seymour has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matchups.

Seymour will head into Monday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 36) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 win over Mendon Unity. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since February 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, Routt Catholic's undefeated season came to an end after 13 games on Monday. They took a hard 55-37 fall against Auburn. The loss put an end to the Rockets' undefeated start to the season.

Seymour is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Routt Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-1.
