Recap: Gainesville Cardinals vs. Chantilly Chargers
Even though the Chantilly Chargers scored an imposing 63 points on Thursday, the Gainesville Cardinals still came out on top. Gainesville walked away with a 73-63 victory over Chantilly. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Gainesville.
Chantilly's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tyler Swindell, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals, and Amare Elshoush who scored 20 points. Ivan So was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Gainesville's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Chantilly, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Gainesville will be playing at home against Forest Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chantilly won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Battlefield at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st.
