Basketball Recap: Inverness Christian Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Kaiden Breedlove and Xavier Koster

Inverness Christian Academy lost against Varsity Opponent back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Inverness Christian Academy received a blow as they fell 62-48 to Varsity Opponent. Inverness Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Inverness Christian Academy had strong showings from Xavier Koster, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds, and Kaiden Breedlove, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 20 boards. Breedlove has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 13 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Daunte Thomas, who posted five points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Even though they lost, Inverness Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.
