Basketball Game Preview: Pembroke Hill Raiders vs. Platte County Pirates

The Pembroke Hill Raiders will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Platte County Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pembroke Hill will be strutting in after a win while Platte County will be coming in after a loss.

Pembroke Hill will head into Saturday's matchup hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 22-point drubbing they dealt Casady on Saturday. Pembroke Hill blew past Casady 55-33. The contest marked the Raiders' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Platte County entered their game against Ruskin on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Platte County fell 57-50 to Ruskin. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pembroke Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Platte County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.

Pembroke Hill strolled past Platte County in their previous matchup back in January of 2016 by a score of 70-56. Will Pembroke Hill repeat their success, or does Platte County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
