Basketball Recap: Watertown Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Watertown entered their contest against Wakefield Memorial on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Watertown Raiders took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wakefield Memorial Warriors. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Watertown's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4. As for Wakefield Memorial, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Watertown has already played their next matchup (against Winchester), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wakefield Memorial has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Reading Memorial.
