The Fleming Island Golden Eagles won the last time they faced the Baker County Wildcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Fleming Island enjoyed a cozy 70-52 win over the Wildcats.
George Hamm continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Carson Crawford, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Fleming Island is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for Baker County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.
Fleming Island and the Bobcats will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Buchholz will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. Baker County will take on the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
