While Joaquin didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-12-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Mart Panthers 9-1 on Saturday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Joaquin, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Mart, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Joaquin will head out to square off against Normangee at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Joaquin is facing Normangee at the right time seeing as Normangee is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Mart, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bosqueville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
