Football Recap: Toppenish Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Toppenish was not quite Selah's equal in the second half on Friday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 35-14. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Toppenish's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Selah, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Toppenish is set to take on their familiar foe East Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Selah will square off against rival Grandview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
