Hicksville has no trouble against Continental

Recap: Hicksville Aces vs. Continental Pirates
The Hicksville Aces's four-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 49-24 margin over Continental. The score was all tied up 20-20 at the break, but Hicksville was the (much) better team in the second half.
Hicksville found their leader in underclassman Garrett Turnbull, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Turnbull is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxztyn Heisler, who scored 11 points.
Hicksville's victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2. As for Continental, they bumped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Hicksville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bryan at 6:00 p.m. on December 9th. Continental won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lincolnview at 7:30 p.m. on December 9th.
