Soccer Recap: Newman International Academy Comes Up Short

Newman International Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the DeSoto Eagles.

Newman International Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for DeSoto, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Newman International Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for DeSoto, they will host Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
