Emma Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Julia Wallace was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kristen Wareham, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Wildwood came up short against Cape May County Tech on Tuesday, falling 7-1.
