Basketball Recap: Hilliard Bradley Takes Down Marysville in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Hilliard Bradley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Marysville Monarchs with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 58-39. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Monarchs back in January, they had to take a 54-47 loss.

Hilliard Bradley's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14. As for Marysville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-10 record.

Looking ahead, Hilliard Bradley will challenge Reynoldsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Reynoldsburg knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Hilliard Bradley likes a good challenge. Marysville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
