Bluffton entered their tilt with Manchester on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They claimed a resounding 86-51 victory over the Manchester Squires. With the Tigers ahead 42-21 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bluffton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maryn Schreiber, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most points Schreiber has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tressa Renner, who went 6 for 9 en route to 14 points along with eight assists and three steals.

Bluffton was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manchester only racked up 13 assists.

Manchester's loss came despite strong showings from Emma Walker and Peyton Ream. Walker posted ten points and six boards, while Ream went 6 of 13 on her way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Schannep, who scored eight points.

Bluffton pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Manchester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Bluffton and Manchester are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Bluffton will face off against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. As for Manchester, they will take on Lewis Cass at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Manchester has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
