While Heritage Hills's victory against Hancock County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the Hornets 8-7 on Friday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mia Kiegel made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
