Scurry-Rosser has gone 9-1 against Palmer recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will welcome the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Scurry-Rosser's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Palmer has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Tuesday, Scurry-Rosser got the win against Rice by a conclusive 3-0.

Scurry-Rosser walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Palmer played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Blooming Grove by a score of 3-1.

While Palmer might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Blooming Grove scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-22, 25-20.

Palmer had a senior duo take command as Zoe Zhanel had 14 digs and Kinsli Plough had ten digs and ten assists. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Zhanel.

Palmer was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 20 consecutive matches.

Scurry-Rosser's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Palmer, their win bumped their record up to 21-7.
