It's playoff time, and George Washington had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with an 83-74 win over the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-47 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Woodrow Wilson lost, don't look at Alauna Ellis. Despite the final result, she went 11-for-15 to rack up 25 points and eight boards. Those 25 points gave Ellis a new career-high. Zoey Williams was another key player, shooting 54% from the field on her way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

George Washington is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. Woodrow Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 12-10.
