Volleyball Recap: Governor Mifflin Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Governor Mifflin lost to Hempfield back in April of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Governor Mifflin came out on top against Hempfield by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Governor Mifflin's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

After both having extra time off, Governor Mifflin and Exeter Township will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Exeter Township will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Governor Mifflin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hempfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Ephrata on the 27th.
