The First Academy extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 3-0. They blew past the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks 70-43. Fans of the Royals have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Cory McPherson had a dynamite game, going 7-for-11 en route to 17 points and five steals. McPherson is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Max Simmons, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 14 points and five assists.

The First Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They racked up seven more assists than Santa Fe Catholic's also-impressive total of ten.

As for Santa Fe Catholic, they now have a losing record of 1-2. They haven't had much luck with The First Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Santa Fe Catholic still got an impressive performance from Shannon McArthur, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of KJ Foster, who earned seven points.
