Iroquois/Lake Preston will square off against the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Iroquois/Lake Preston turned things around against Sunshine Bible Academy on Monday. They breezed by the Crusaders to the tune of 50-20. That looming 50-20 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Iroquois/Lake Preston yet this season.

Meanwhile, Wolsey-Wessington took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 55-22 win over James Valley Christian. The Warbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 33 points or more this season.

Wolsey-Wessington has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.8 points per game. As for Iroquois/Lake Preston, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.

Iroquois/Lake Preston was able to grind out a solid win over Wolsey-Wessington in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 61-51.
