The Wolcott Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 49-14 loss at the hands of Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic.

Leading Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic to victory were Evan Schibi and Aiden Avenia. Schibi rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while Avenia rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

Wolcott's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.
