Georgetown had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Maddie Smith sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Smith as she went 2-for-4 with one home run and three runs.

Coming up, Smith and Georgetown will face off against Aynor at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Georgetown hasn't beaten Aynor recently, having gone 0-8 since April of 2021.
