Baseball Recap: Carle Place Frogs vs. Cold Spring Harbor Seahawks
Carle Place had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Cold Spring Harbor on Monday. The Frogs blew past the Seahawks 10-4. The Frogs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18, 2024.
The team relied heavily on Patrick McCarthy, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Tyler Marquart was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
