Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Falls to Winter Haven Christian in First Game of Season

Faith Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Winter Haven Christian Warriors, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Winter Haven Christian pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian Academy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Candlelight Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Winter Haven Christian, they will welcome Mulberry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
