Preview: Indian Trail Hawks vs. Racine Park Panthers
The Indian Trail Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Racine Park Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Trail has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-3 during that stretch of close contests.
Last Saturday, Indian Trail slipped by Fond du Lac 51-50. The win was all the more spectacular given Indian Trail's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while Fond du Lac is ranked 75th).
Mj Stackhouse continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Indian Trail's points. Silas Bolton was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Racine Park pushed their score all the way to 80 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 94-80 fall against Cedarburg. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game two weeks ago (75), Racine Park still had to take the loss.
The victory got Indian Trail back to even at 7-7. As for Racine Park, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
