With a playoff win on the line, Lansdowne rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Owings Mills Golden Eagles. The Vikings' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

With the win, Lansdowne broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-16. As for Owings Mills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Lansdowne will take on Hereford on Saturday. Owings Mills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
