Volleyball Recap: Marion Gets the Win

Marion won the last time they faced Mt. Vernon and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rams.

Marion never let Mt. Vernon on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23.

Marion now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Mt. Vernon, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Marion will head out to square off against Centralia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Vernon, they will take on Hutsonville/Palestine in a tournament on Saturday.
