Baseball Recap: Norwich RVT Takes a Loss

If Norwich RVT was riding high fresh off their 18-3 takedown of Prince RVT on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New London Whalers on Thursday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Whalers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Norwich RVT saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Collin Schulze, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Norwich RVT has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. As for New London, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwich RVT will face off against Grasso Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for New London, they will square off against Montville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
