Soccer Recap: Bishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Bishop Carroll lost against Somerset back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huskies fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Bishop Carroll can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 425th, while Somerset are ranked 198th).

Bishop Carroll dropped their record down to 8-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Somerset, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Bishop Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somerset, they will square off against Altoona at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
