Football Game Preview: Lambert/Richey vs. Bridger

Bridger may have come out ahead in their last contest, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. Lambert/Richey and Bridger go head to head on Friday at 7:00 PM in their first playoff game of the year. Bridger will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Lambert/Richey will be their toughest opponent yet.

Lambert/Richey took an ego-bruising loss against Wibaux two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Everything came up roses for Lambert/Richey against Savage as the squad secured a 52-6 win. Followers of Lambert/Richey probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.

Meanwhile, Bridger took the match and then some with a 74-27 victory over Shields Valley. The rankings were on Bridger's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.

Their wins bumped Bridger to 8-2 and Lambert/Richey to 7-2. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
