Volleyball Recap: Coeur D'alene Wins Going Away Against Rigby + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Coeur d'Alene rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Rigby Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Gianna Callari paced Coeur d'Alene's offense, picking up 14 kills. Callari got some help from Eva Callari and her 17 assists. Finally, Gianna was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Rigby lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Breleigh Youngstrom, who had 19 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 21 games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Coeur d'Alene and bumps their season record up to 24-4. As for Rigby, their defeat dropped their record down to 32-9.
