Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rock Hill entered their tilt with Northwestern on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Rock Hill had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-12, 25-16, 25-7.

Aidan Graham paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up 18 kills. Graham got some help from Ethan Missaggia and his 37 assists. Jacob Young controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The win got Rock Hill back to even at 7-7. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Rock Hill will square off against rival Catawba Ridge at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northwestern is set to take on their familiar foe Indian Land at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
