Jefferson Davis Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They secured a 28-23 W over Richard Winn Academy on Friday.

Nasir Void was his usual excellent self, rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Colson Loadholt also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Holly Hill Academy waltzed into Friday's match with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They blew past Wardlaw Academy 57-28 at home. The result was nothing new for Holly Hill Academy, who have now won nine contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Tyree James, who rushed for 220 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Soles, who rushed for 22 yards and a touchdown.

Their wins bumped Jefferson Davis Academy to 11-2 and Holly Hill Academy to 11-1.
