Softball Recap: Amsterdam's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Amsterdam had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Gloversville Huskies/Dragons 8-1 on Friday. The contest marked the Rams' most dominant win of the season.

Elianna Tirado and Carolyn Agresta did most of the damage at the plate: Tirado went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI, while Agresta went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those stolen bases were Agresta's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Lucca Fiorillo, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-14. As for Gloversville, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

As of now, neither Amsterdam nor the Huskies/Dragons have any future games scheduled.
