Baseball Recap: Paw Paw Takes a Loss

If Paw Paw was riding high fresh off their 10-2 takedown of Dowagiac on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Wolves fell just short of the Coldwater Cardinals by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Paw Paw saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maverick Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Paw Paw's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Coldwater, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paw Paw will venture away from home to challenge Vicksburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Red Wolves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Coldwater, they will square off against Union City at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
