Football Recap: Horseshoe Bend Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Horseshoe Bend was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were dealt a 58-10 loss at the hands of the Wadley Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 140th).

Horseshoe Bend's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wadley, the victory was the 15th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Horseshoe Bend and Wadley will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Generals are set to square off against their familiar foe Reeltown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wadley will take on rival Fayetteville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
