Soccer Recap: Hazleton Area Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hazleton Area lost against Crestwood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Comets, falling 10-1. Hazleton Area were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Isabella Ciavarella, who's now up to 13 this season.

Hazleton Area has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record this season. As for Crestwood, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Hazleton Area will head out on the road to take on Scranton Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Crestwood, they will challenge Abington Heights at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Abington Heights' defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Crestwood's offense will have their work cut out for them.
