There's no place like home for Faith Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Friday. Considering the Patriots have won nine games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Vincent Wilson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Colson Gay, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Faith Christian pushed their record up to 20-6 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Rocky Mount Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Faith Christian nor Rocky Mount Academy have any future games scheduled.
