Recap: Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves vs. Kings Christian Crusaders
The Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Kings Christian, falling 65-34. Wonderful College Prep Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.
Ronnie Roche was his usual excellent self, scoring 31 points for Kings Christian. That makes it three consecutive games in which Roche has scored at least a third of Kings Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Elyas Miro, who scored 12 points.
Wonderful College Prep Academy bumped their record down to 2-14 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for Kings Christian, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 19-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wonderful College Prep Academy will square off against Orosi at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kings Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Caruthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
