Volleyball Game Preview: Sunrise Mountain Mustangs vs. Verrado Vipers

The Sunrise Mountain Mustangs will square off against the Verrado Vipers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunrise Mountain will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Sunrise Mountain and Willow Canyon, and Sunrise Mountain kept the tradition alive. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wildcats on Tuesday.

The victory didn't come easy: Willow Canyon scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 18-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Verrado got the win against Youngker on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Vipers in their matchups with the Roughriders: they've now won five in a row.

Verrado pushed their record up to 20-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sunrise Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.
