Jamarcuz Fountain Turns in Season-Best Effort

Sadly, Jamarcuz Fountain posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Pensacola over Escambia on Friday. Fountain rushed for 207 yards on only 15 carries, and also threw for 102 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Pensacola's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4. Fountain and Pensacola will welcome St. Michael Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jon Devos stepped things up a notch to give Bay the 'W'. Nobody could stop Devos as he rushed for 34 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 113 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes.
