Basketball Recap: Dreyfoos School of the Arts Comes Up Short

Sa?Nya Flowers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pahokee, putting up 18 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Flowers has scored at least a third of Pahokee's points.

Dreyfoos School of the Arts has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Pahokee, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dreyfoos School of the Arts and Forest Hill will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Dreyfoos School of the Arts is facing Forest Hill at the right time seeing as Forest Hill is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Pahokee, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Moore Haven at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Moore Haven will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Pahokee surely won't give up without a fight.
