Basketball Recap: Mcdowell Extends Winning Streak to Four

McDowell extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Derrick Forney Jr. Everything went the McDowell Titans' way against the Asheville Cougars on Friday as the McDowell Titans made off with an 86-63 win thanks in part to Forney Jr, who posted 33 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kyson Rinnert, who had 16 points. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

McDowell's record now sits at 19-2. As for Asheville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
