Basketball Game Preview: Francis W. Parker Colonels vs. North Shore Country Day Raiders

Having just played yesterday, the Francis W. Parker Colonels will get right back to it and host the North Shore Country Day Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Francis W. Parker is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Chicago University just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Maroons and fell 50-19. The Colonels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-9.

Spencer Dunbar was Francis W. Parker's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Dunbar also led the team in rebounds with six.

Meanwhile, North Shore Country Day came up short against Zion-Benton back in December of 2024 and fell 46-35.

Francis W. Parker's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for North Shore Country Day, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
