Shadow Ridge won the last time they faced Legacy and things went their way on Friday too. Shadow Ridge won by a run and slipped past Legacy 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Skyler Fife looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, Shadow Ridge saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyson Rollo, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Mason Markowitz also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Shadow Ridge's record now sits at 5-9. As for Legacy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-9.

Looking ahead, Shadow Ridge will welcome Arbor View at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Shadow Ridge's pitchers better be ready for this one: Arbor View has averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Legacy, they will venture away from home to take on Silverado at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
