Basketball Recap: Knott County Central Comes Up Short

Knott County Central lost against Hazard back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knott County Central Patriots took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs are ranked 12th).

This is the second loss in a row for Knott County Central and nudges their season record down to 19-12. As for Hazard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Knott County Central nor Hazard have any future games scheduled.
