Softball Recap: Worthington Kilbourne Takes a Loss

Worthington Kilbourne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Big Walnut Golden Eagles, falling 19-2. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 8-7 to the Golden Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Karris Stuttard made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Worthington Kilbourne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Big Walnut, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Worthington Kilbourne didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Westland on the 11th. As for Big Walnut, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-3 win against Westerville North on the 10th.
